Welcome back to another SUPER year at Centralhatchee Elementary School!

I am excited to begin my first year as principal of Centralhatchee Elementary, a school that is steeped in tradition. I have already felt so welcomed by the community, and I encourage you to stop by the school to meet me anytime! Throughout the year we will have several “Chat and Chew” meetings for parents and the community to learn more about the school. Meeting dates and topics will be posted on the website and our Facebook page. I know that some of you are worried about having a new principal, and I know I have some big shoes to fill, but I want to ensure you that I will always have the best interest of the children at heart.  I grew up on a farm on Bethesda Church Road, as the oldest of five children. I am married to a wonderful man, have four grown children, and two very special granddaughters. Faith, family, and freedom are most important in my life, and Centralhatchee has quickly become part of my family! Helping each student succeed is our goal at Centralhatchee Elementary.  To meet this goal, we need to all work together. With your help, we can make a difference in the life of each child in our school. Below are some ways that you can help your child:
 Make sure your child reads every night.
 Your child needs plenty of sleep.
 Have your child at school on time, everyday.
 Contact your child’s teacher first if you have a concern.
 Attend school and community events.
 Stay informed through our Facebook page and school website. Together we can all make a difference. I look forward to meeting you soon!
