CES families… Please read! I want to give you a reminder about student attendance and let you know of a new attendance incentive for our students.
As you know, student attendance is very important, so please continue to be conscious of having your student at school AND on time every day. Please limit early checkouts too. I appreciate your support with attendance.
New incentive for perfect attendance… Beginning Tuesday, September 6, we will offer an incentive for student attendance. For each WEEK your student has perfect attendance (considered present for the day) OR perfect-perfect attendance (no tardies or checkouts), his/her name will be entered into a drawing at the end of this 9 weeks. At that time, we will draw names from those lists and reward three students from each category… perfect attendance (counted as present at school) and perfect-perfect attendance (no tardies and no checkouts).
For this nine weeks, the reward will be as follows… Perfect attendance: $40, $20, and $10. Perfect-perfect attendance… $50, $30, and $20.

Parents, Talk with your students about what it takes to be “BRAVE” with their learning. At CES, we want students to be active in their learning and capable of making self-assessments in the learning process.

The Fall Book Fair begins THIS Friday! We are using a new company called Literati. We DO NOT have student E-Wallets. You can purchase gift-cards online for students and teachers to use instead. We accept cash, card, and check. Make sure to check out the online fair available through 8/9!
Congratulations to our August Readers of the month! They had the most checkouts during the month of August with passing AR quizzes!
A few of Centralhatchee’s finest participated in a Stand Up for Cancer 5K this evening! A great cause to support and a good time for all. Way to go ladies!!

A big “shout out” to three of our best, Amanda Stephens, Tracey Hunt, and Coach Eric Dye for being members of the Aspiring Leaders program in Heard County Schools. CES is blessed to have all three of these teachers (current and future leaders) working with our students everyday!
Parents, We will sale ICE CREAM tomorrow and Wednesday. Our ice cream cooler isn’t cooling properly and needs repairs. The ice cream is currently being held in our kitchen freezer, but space is limited. If you want your child to buy an ice cream, you can send $1 tomorrow and Wednesday (just like you normally do on Fridays).

CES Birthdays this week! Happy Birthday kiddos!
The school and county wide fundraiser (Braves Bucks) starts now. Here are 4 pics from our fundraiser pep rally earlier today. Students that receive three “$30 donations” by midnight tonight receive a popsicle party. For those that donate to Braves Bucks, you earn access to a “cash back shopping app.” Other incentives apply to students who receive five or more donations in the next two weeks.
CES families... Remember that our county/school-wide fundraiser will kick-off tomorrow, August 17. If you haven’t already, please familiarize yourself with our fundraiser info pictured here. *Note - There will be incentives for the following... Students obtaining 3 or more app donations by midnight on August 17 (the day of the fundraiser launch), students obtaining 5 app donations during the fundraiser window, and a prize for the student obtaining the most app donations in the school.

Fundraiser reminder... Please make sure you have started adding names and phone numbers to your child’s Friends & Family sheet in order to prepare for our fundraiser launch on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. We are asking for your child to have several names (maybe 20 or more) of friends and family members who are willing to support your child and our school. Filling out the Friends & Family sheets in advance will ensure that this is a successful fundraiser. Thank you for all of your help!
