THANK YOU to everyone that helped contribute and donate to our Fall Festival yesterday. The list is long... PTO volunteers that worked so hard over the past month to get things ready and set-up. Local businesses for your generous donations. Parents and community members for your willingness to donate the following: candy for games, cake walk goodies, items for our silent auction baskets, the cornhole boards to raffle, the inflatable, and the hayride. HCHS student volunteers who helped work games. The Sheriff's Department for traffic and crowd control. The good Lord for perfect weather yesterday. And of course, the staff at CES for always stepping up to serve our students and the community. I know our students enjoyed themselves, and it was good to be able to have an evening together. Thank you everyone!

Happy Saturday everyone. It's a great day to have our CES Fall Festival! Couple of reminders for this afternoon... Doors will open at 5:00pm. Games and fun until 7:00pm. Games are in the old gym and the new gym. The cake walk is on the stage in the old gym. Concessions are in the old gym. Our silent auction baskets and the raffle for the cornhole boards are in the old gym. The inflatable is set up in the new gym. The hayride will pick-up and drop-off down at the bus driveway. (Parents: Please do not park at the bus driveway.) Wristbands are on sale tonight for $15, or individual tickets can be purchased to play the games and activities. Restrooms to be used are on the hallway by the new gym and the media center. I hope to see everyone tonight!

Check back tomorrow afternoon for pictures of our SILENT AUCTION baskets that will be available Saturday at our Fall Festival! We have some amazing baskets up for auction with some really cool items in each basket. Our basket themes are... Heard County Spirit / Art / Car Wash / Family Movie Night / Fitness / Family Game Night / Outdoor Fun and Camping / UGA / Alabama / Baking / Gardening / Bath and Spa / Summer Fun and Grilling. Silent auction bids can be placed from 5:00pm until 6:45pm. You do not have to be present to win, you just need your name to be the highest bid on the bid sheet at the closing of bids. The baskets can be viewed in the old gym and bids will increase each time by $5.00. Look for the basket pictures tomorrow! Thank you to everyone that donated basket items!

CES families... Your student should have brought home a Fall Festival "wristband order form" yesterday or today. Wristbands are pre-sold for $10 and allow for many things, such as unlimited game play, one turn on the hayride, one turn on the inflatable, etc. The wristband is easily the best option for games and fun and is priced at only $10.. Please consider purchasing your wristband now and not waiting until the night of the Fall Festival (they'll be $15 that night). You can return the order form now and then pick up the wristband at the Fall Festival on October 23. Thank you for your support of CES!
