Big Saturday for CES… robotics competition and parade day.

“Santa letters” are headed to the North Pole!

“Thank you” goes out to Heard High’s Peer Leadership team and Ms Ashmore for decorating one of our hallway bulletin boards today. Several of our kids walked by it and commented about how cool it was.

Happy Birthday to several of our students this week!

CES families… This year, our Christmas concert will be held at the GPAC on the morning of Wednesday, December 21 at 9:30am. All friends and families are invited. Students will report to school that morning as usual, then we’ll bus them down to the GPAC around 9:00.
At the conclusion of the concert, around 10:30, we’ll bus all students back to CES where we’ll have lunch and classroom Christmas parties. Students can be checked-out once we return to CES and complete the classroom parties.

CES families: A look ahead for the next 3+ weeks...
Please have your child at school every day and on time. We have a lot of instruction to cover and benchmarks to administer before Christmas break.
We also have some fun things scheduled for our students, including...
our Santa Shop, 2nd 9 weeks AR party, our Christmas concert, and classroom Christmas parties. *NOTE: This year's Christmas concert will be held at the GPAC (in Franklin) on Wednesday morning, December 21 at 9:30am. This concert will be open to CES families and friends. After the concert, all students will return to CES (on a bus) for lunch and classroom Christmas parties. Students will be allowed to have a "free" check-out from school after their classroom party.

Thank you CES lunch staff for a delicious Thanksgiving meal!

Way to go Libby… Reflex fluent in multiplication and division!

Birthday kiddos for this week and next week! Happy Birthday everyone!

Thank you CES families for coming to our Art Night this evening. Manyi more pictures on our Facebook page.

We love our Veterans. Many more pictures are posted to our Facebook page.

Parents and guardians… Please take a look at the outline for our “safe boundaries lesson” that will take place this Wednesday (5th, 3rd, and 1st grades) with our school counselor. Grades 4, 2, and kindergarten will have their lesson on December 14. This is regarding the letter you received last week with the “opt-out” option. If you chose and returned the opt-out option, your student will not attend the lesson and will stay with another teacher during this time. Thanks!

Our 3rd graders enjoyed a conference call yesterday with US Army Staff Sergeant Dylan Wood to learn more about Veteran’s Day! Thank you sir for your service!

ART NIGHT... Monday, Nov 14, 5:30 - 6:30, in the CES gym. Come by and see your student's art work and pick-up a catalog where you can order mugs, greeting cards, key chains, and many, many more items featuring your child's artwork. This would make a great Christmas present idea for friends and families.

VETERANS... we thank you for your service!

Addition fact masters in 2nd grade. Congrats Camryn and Truett!

To all Veterans… Thank You! May God bless our country!
