To CES families: We expect to have school tomorrow. Temperatures will be very cold, especially during bus pick-up times and car rider arrival times. For parents of car riders, please be patient in the morning as staff members try to keep warm and help students get out of cars. We hope to see everyone at school tomorrow. Stay warm and be safe!

To CES families: VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE: Please share this with your CES friends! You probably received a text message from Superintendent Mr. Roberts just a few minutes ago stating the delayed start to school in the morning due to forecasted storms. Here are times for CES: Everything is pushed back 2 hours. Buses will pick-up two hours LATER than normal. School doors will open at 9:10 instead of the normal 7:10. Homeroom time begins at 9:40 instead of the normal 7:40. Everything else will be the same throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dismissal time. Thank you for your understanding. BE SAFE!

Congratulations to all of our students that competed in the school-wide spelling bee. These young men represented their homerooms, and each did a great job during today's spelling bee. Our winner is Tate Dye (5th grd), and the runner-up is Dillon Denton (4th grd). Tate will represent CES at the county spelling bee in January. Way to go boys!

dress up
To CES families: Weather permitting, the Town of Centralhatchee Christmas Parade is this Saturday at 2:00. Students are welcome to meet us at CES and ride on the school float. We'll load the float and leave CES by 1:30. We usually have room for 30 students. IF WE HAVE MORE STUDENTS THAN WILL SAFELY FIT ON THE FLOAT, SOME STUDENTS WILL HAVE TO WALK BEHIND THE FLOAT with a CES staff member. Once the parade is over, please pick-up your student at the PARK next to Centralhatchee First Baptist Church around 2:30. * IF the parade is cancelled due to bad weather, a text will be sent out to notify everyone.
